Supervisor W/O Charge, Mother Virgie Pulliam
Born in Hayti, Missouri, Mother Virgie M. Pulliam accepted Christ as her savior in 1957 under the leadership of Elder B.B. Gillespie. She is married to Supt. Limmie D. Pulliam, Sr., and their union of 60 years, and counting, has provided them with 10 children, 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
After 32 faithful years of service, she retired from the Emerson Electric Company in Kennett, MO.
In the church, Mother Pulliam has served in numerous capacities, including: Sunday School Teacher, Prayer & Bible Band Teacher, Pastor’s Wife, Evangelist Missionary, Jurisdictional Sunshine Band President, Jurisdictional Y.W.C.C. President, Chairperson of Jurisdictional Calendar Committee, Member of the Jurisdictional Trustee Board and Assistant Jurisdictional Supervisor of Women. For 15 years, she served as the Jurisdictional Supervisor of the Missouri Southeast Third Jurisdiction.
Mother Pulliam has completed courses of study in “Caring for People God’s Way,” “Caring for Children God’s Way” and “Extraordinary Women” from The Light University in Forest, Virginia and “Loss and Grief” from The Green Memorial Biblical University. She is a graduate of The Green Memorial Biblical University where she has obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Christian Counseling and a Master’s Degree in Theology. Mother Pulliam is a recent graduate of The Midwest Seminary of Bible Theology where she received her Doctorate in Theology.
Mother Pulliam is a member of American Center for Law & Justice (ACLJ) and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
